Biographical notes
Edward Carrington (Ted) Mack (1933- ), architect and parliamentarian, was educated at Sydney Boys High School and the University of NSW where he graduated a Bachelor of Architecture. He was an alderman at North Sydney Municipal Council from 1974 to 1988. Mack was Mayor of North Sydney from 1980 until his retirement in 1988. Mack was elected as an Independent member of the NSW Legislative Assembly in the seat of North Shore in 1981. He held the seat until his retirement from parliament in 1988.
