Biographical notes
Edward Henry Lloyd, pastoralist, was born in England in 1825 and came to Australia in 1849, along with his brothers John C. and Charles. In 1853 Lloyd, in partnership with his brothers, purchased W.C. Wentworth's Liverpool Plains interests, comprising 'Burburgate' and six other stations.
Edward Lloyd was M.L.A. for Liverpool Plains and Gwyder between 1858 and 1859 . From 1863 to 1865 he was a Member of the Legislative Council of NSW. Edward Lloyd died in 1889.
