Fuller, John Bryan Munro, 1917 –
Biographical notes
Sir John Bryan Munro Fuller (1917- ), pastoralist and parliamentarian, was born at Mosman, son of Bryan and Isabel Fuller. He was educated at Knox Grammar, Wahroonga, and worked in rural NSW and QLD before acquiring and settling on a property at Coolah, NSW.
Fuller was a councillor of Coolah Shire (1955-1965) and was elected to the NSW Legislative Council (1961-1978). A member of the NSW Country Party, he was involved in the NSW Graziers' Association and was a delegate on a number of overseas trade missions. Fuller was appointed Minister for Decentralisation and Development (1965-1973), Minister for Planning and Environment (1973-1976) and was Leader of the Opposition (1976-1978).
