Bignold, Marie, 1927 – 2018

Marie May Bignold (1927-2018), solicitor and parliamentarian, was educated at Methodist Ladies College, Burwood and the University of Sydney. She practiced as a solicitor until her election in 1984 to the NSW Legislative Council representing the Call to Australia Group. She was a member of the NSW Upper House until 1991.
