Beale, Jack Gordon, 1917 –

Jack Gordon Beale (1917- ), engineer and parliamentarian, was born at Manly the son of Rupert Noel and Pamela Beale. He was educated at Sydney Technical High School and Sydney Technical College. He was elected member of the NSW Legislative Assembly in the seat of South Coast in 1942 and held the seat until his retirement in 1973. Jack Beale's father Rupert was MLA for the seat of South Coast from 1941 until his death in September 1942. Jack Beale was Minister for Conservation (1965-1971) and Minister for Environmental Control (1971-1973).
