a'Beckett, William Channing, 1846 – 1929

William Channing a' Beckett (1846-1929), pastoralist and parliamentarian, was the son of Arthur Martin a' Beckett (1812-1871), surgeon and parliamentarian, and his wife Emma Louise, nee Elwin. He was a member of the NSW Legislative Assembly in the seat of The Bogan from February 1889 to June 1891 and from May 1892 to June 1894.
